We all have struggles, no matter how minor or major. And what may be a struggle for me, may not be a struggle for you. Sometimes this perspective can be far from us when we’re dealing with others. For example, I call Stacy, someone I’ve only been knowing for a short time who is in school and had been dealing with some challenges concerning her studies earlier that day. Due to those challenges, Stacy was a bit frustrated and discouraged. Now mind you, I’m not aware that Stacy is in school. But she seems a little distant, not really engaged in the conversation. So, I begin to question whether or not I want to continue acquainting myself with Stacy because from my perspective, Stacy SEEMS to have an attitude problem. But I wasn’t there when Stacy was struggling with her studies. Everything is NOT always what it seems. We all have challenges that others may not know about so this is where we re-examine our hearts, our minds, our perspective or thought process. And take a step back to extend the grace that God, DAILY, extends to us.
